4 Albert Lea businesses to be recognized as Best Places to Work in southeast Minnesota

Workforce Development Inc. this week announced the winners of the Best Places to Work in Southeast Minnesota, including four businesses from Albert Lea.
In total, 15 companies from Winona, Freeborn, Mower, Rice, Steele, Goodhue, Olmsted, Houston, Dodge, Fillmore and Wabasha counties will be recognized atthe 2024 Workforce Development Forum April 25 at the Rochester International Event Center.
In the large business category, with 150 or more employees, Riverland Community College will be recognized, and in the mid-size category, with 50 to 150 employees, Albert Lea Seed House will recognized.
In the Small Business category, with under 50 employees, Arcadian Bank and Peterson, Kolker, Haedt & Benda Ltd. will receive the recognition.
The “Best Places to Work” awards program was a commissioned study by Workforce Development Inc. The purpose of the program is to recognize some of the best employers in the local area and provide information to companies about the practices they use to attract and retain employees.
