‘The Grange’

Come to the Freeborn County Historical Museum, Library and Village at 7 p.m. Thursday for a special presentation, “The Grange — A Fraternity of Farmers that Championed Rural America.” Agricultural historian T.J. Malaskee will tell the story of America’s first fraternity of farmers and the rural movement they started to heal the nation through agriculture education, equality and social interaction. Cost for the event is free for members and $5 for nonmembers.

Parents night out dinner party

Worth Brewing Co. is teaming up with the Northwood Community Center to host a night of fun from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the BeeHive Ballroom. This will be a sit-down dinner, which includes an appetizer, choice of entree, a side and dessert for $30. There will also be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Spring craft and bake sale

Bridge Community Church will host a spring craft fair and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be jewelry, crocheted items, macrame, home decor, dish cloths, cookies, cinnamon rolls and more.

Dinner and comedy show

Murder mystery event

Support the Freeborn County Eagles Rugby by attending their murder mystery event from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Broadway. It is a 1920s-themed mystery, and costumes are encouraged. Tickets cost $40 each or $300 for a table of eight. Purchase tickets by emailing brittany@thecottagesgroup.com.
