The Big Island Rendezvous & Festival, known for bringing history to life for thousands of students annually, this week announced its Education Fundraiser.
The event will be from 5 to 10 p.m. April 19 at Wedgewood Cove, 220 W. Ninth St. in Albert Lea. It supports the 2024 Rendezvous Education Days, which historically offers a dynamic learning experience to over 2,700 students from various schools across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.
The evening will start with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by a silent auction from 5:30 to 7:25 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., and culminating with a live auction at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $25 per person or $175 for a table of eight.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring friends and family for an enjoyable evening that promises not only to support a vital cause but also to offer a great opportunity for community engagement and connection. People interested in contributing items to the auction should reach out to bigislandfestival@gmail.com for details.
To RSVP, purchase tickets at the Albert Lea Convention & Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce office at 132 N. Broadway.
