The Albert Lea Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Freeborn County Historical Museum. The movie “Field of Lost Shoes” will be shown. This movie tells the story of the 274 Virginia Military Institute cadets who played a significant role at the Battle of New Market in 1864.

There will be a raffle for a book or two regarding the Civil War. A bowl of free popcorn will be served to the group and, of course, the meeting is free and open to the public.
