Baseball season is in full swing for our Albert Lea Tiger baseball team, and the weather is finally looking like it will cooperate. Did you know that admission to the baseball games down at Hayek Field is free during the regular high school season? What better way to spend an evening than cheering on your local Tigers. We have a bunch of upcoming home games, and we’d love to see the community come on down to Hayek to take in a game and support us. Our concession stand is always open serving burgers, hot dogs, popcorn and much more.

Below is a list of the rest of our regular season home games.

• Saturday, April 13, vs. Winona. Doubleheader at noon.

•Tuesday, April 23, vs. Mankato West, 5 p.m.

• Thursday, May 2, vs. Austin, 5 p.m.

• Tuesday, May 7, vs. Faribault, 5 p.m.

• Thursday, May 16, vs. Owatonna, 5 p.m.

As student-athletes, we can tell you that there is nothing better than packed stands, so join us and don’t forget to bring the kids. Every foul ball turned into the concession stand gets a reward. We hope to see you down at the ball field this season!
