A: 12th grade

A: I live in Hollandale and attend Albert Lea High School.

Q: Who is your immediate family?
A: Parents, Jake and Sarah; brother, Connor; sister, Annika; and dog, Indy

Q: Which sports do you play?
A: I am currently in track and field.

Q: What is your favorite part of playing your sport?
A: The friendships and connections that are built

Q: What has playing that sport taught you?
A: Perseverance, strength and leadership

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Watching and cheering on the 4×4 at the end of every track meet

Q: How did you get started in your sport?
A: I did gymnastics starting at a young age through my 10th grade year, which was a year-round sport. When I stopped, I figured I would try a new sport and chose track.

Q: What sports did your family members play?
A: Mom, downhill skiing; Dad, basketball, football, tennis, softball; brother, basketball, tennis; sister, basketball, volleyball.

Q: What are your sports-related achievements?
A: I had many honors as a club gymnast, such as going to multiple Division 1 State Meets and Individuals.

Q: What are your sports-related goals?
A: My goals are to improve in my events and be the best athlete and teammate I can be.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?
A: Gabby Douglas has always been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Her story always inspired me as a gymnast.

Q: What are your college plans? Major?
A: Attend the College of Saint Benedict to major in psychology.

Q: What is your favorite school subject?
A: Math

Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: I have had a lot of great teachers, but Mr. Gentz is one of my favorites.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Baking, seeing friends and family, being at my cabin and playing with my dog

Q: What is your dream job?
A: Growing up, I wanted to be a veterinarian.

A: “Stranger Things”

A: I own a lot of plants.
