INVITATION FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION BIDS

4.0 TYPES OF BIDDING AND
CLASSES OF WORK: A. Prime contract will be awarded for the following work:
General Construction: Divisions 1 through 16 (less items indicated to be furnished by Owner).
4.1 PRE-BID MEETING: A pre-bid meeting will be held at 203 Clark Street May 14, 2024, at 1:15 p.m.
5.0 AVAILABILITY OF DOCUMENTS: Documents (drawings and specifications) will be available in electronic format from the office of Zenk Read Trygstad & Associates, Inc., (507 438 4533), Tdrzrt@gmail.com, 1806 11 th Ave SW Austin, Minnesota 55912.
6.0 DOCUMENT PURCHASE: Suppliers and individuals requiring other than as above may purchase individual
specification sections and/or drawings. No refunds on purchased items. The
Bidder is solely responsible for selection of drawing sheets and completeness of
his bid. Request may be in writing or by phone. For purchase of complete sets,
drawing sheets, or specification sheets, contact the Architect’s office.
Documents will be sent UPS.

8.0 BID SECURITY: 5% Bid Security is required. In submitting a bid each bidder agrees the bid shall be valid for a period of thirty days from the date of the bid opening.
9.0 REJECTION: Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive bidding informalities. Bids received after the date and time specified will not be considered.
10.0 PRIOR APPROVAL: This contract has a prior approval clause for product substitutions.
12.0 BID OPENING: Sealed bids will be received at the Freeborn County Highway Department at the above mentioned time and date and will be publicly opened. Bid results will be made available, upon request, following the bid opening.
