Albert Lea Fire Rescue and Albert Lea Police Department responded to a report of smoke in one of the bedrooms at 1201 Southview Lane Tuesday morning. One resident who was home at the time of the fire was able to safely get out of the house before fire crews arrived and was checked out by Mayo Ambulance crews at the scene.
