Kathleen Dolores Lack

Kathleen Dolores Lack (Iverson) of Albert Lea, Minnesota, passed away on April 28, 2024. She was born in the small town of Graettinger, Iowa on August 21, 1945, to loving parents, Gordy and Dolores (Hampson) Iverson. Kathleen was raised alongside her siblings – Ken, Robert, and Ruth.
Kathleen married her first husband, Jim Farr, and together, they had four children – Troy Farr, James Farr, Jody Svien, and Tracy Bolinger. Kathleen and Jim later divorced. Kathleen worked at the Standard Station in Ellendale for many years before she moved to California with her second husband, John Lack. In California, she worked in a lunch room for a school district for many years. Throughout her life, Kathleen had a passion for sewing, quilting, crocheting, and shopping at garage sales. John and Kathleen spent many hours at the Moose Club dancing and camping wherever they traveled. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She will be forever cherished by her children- Troy (Mary Jo) Farr, James (Kim) Farr, Jody (Mike) Svien, and Tracy (Lynn) Bolinger; grandchildren, Makensie (Aden) Erickson, Mallory Farr, Abby Svien, Coy Svien, Anthony Simon, and Levi Bolinger; and great-grandchild, Grey Simon. She will also be remembered by her sister, Ruth Reese; brother, Robert Iverson; and nieces, Tammy and Kelly.
Kathleen was welcomed home by her parents. Gordy and Dolores; brother, Ken Iverson; and husband, John Lack.
At Kathleen’s request, no services will be held and Kathleen will be buried in California by her late husband John.
