I keep reading about Albert Lea city’s fireworks display being moved from a location that was non-compliant for safety. MN statutes and rules were not just created overnight. So my question is, do we have an incompetent fire marshal or City Council? Failure to protect the citizens of Albert Lea is a serious concern. What other Minnesota safety rules are being ignored or not followed by the groups of people either elected or not elected that we entrust to ensure the citizens of Albert Lea’s safety? Hopefully it won’t take a tragedy to make sure there is safety compliance in all aspects in this town.
