The Freeborn County Historical Museum will host Jacob Thompson from Thrivent Financial for the “Your Legacy: Family, Church and Charity” workshop at 4 p.m. Thursday at the museum.

The workshop is intended for those with those who have want to financially help people and organizations that they care about through a legacy gift. They will learn about spontaneous, intentional and strategic or planned giving. They can also see examples of people who have established legacy gift and the strategies they used.

During the session, the workshop will explore estate strategies and tools needed to clarify final wishes as well.

This event is free and open to all. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
