Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms. “The simple, daily influences of prayer, persuasion and promoting of godly values are the most powerful tools a mother can use to unleash the potential of her children.” — David Jeremiah
My personal prayer as a mom is: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” — 3 John 1:4, KJV. I pray for this verse to come to fruition in our family’s life, thanking Jesus for my earthly mom-in-love this week and the example of faith she gave Greggy as a foundation and the strong and consistent prayers she prays for our family! I am blessed!
“Everyone needs their person — you see, some people come into our lives to make it better —to make the music louder, the days brighter and the happiness longer.” —“Through Thick and Thin” poem by Byran Anthonys
Here are some keys to parenting and or ways for us to pray for mommas we know in our lives:
“May we only speak words that make souls stronger.
There is no formula for parenting, there is only faith that there will be sufficient grace for every day.
Anger is contagious, and so is grace.
Don’t let your child’s success go to your head, and don’t let your children’s failures go to your heart; your assignment as a parent is to simply keep going to your Heavenly Father no matter what.
Parenting comes with no guarantees — except the guarantee that God will be with you, no matter what comes.” — Ann Voskamp
We can all pray for the moms and dads especially this week.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16b, NIV
I know this day can bring about a gamut of different emotions, so I gently say I wish you a blessed and joy filled day.
