Police received a report at 7:53 p.m. Monday of a vehicle that was broken into sometime between 4:45 and 5:45 p.m. in the public parking lot at St. Mary Avenue and William Street.

Deputies arrested Eh Wah Htoo, 19, on an arrest and detain hold at 10 a.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway for an alleged probation violation.

Police arrested Jennifer Lynn Whelan, 45, on a harassment restraining order violation at 3 a.m. Monday in Albert Lea.

Hit-and-run reported

Police received a report at 11:19 a.m. Monday of a hit-and-run crash that had happened on Saturday either at Walmart or the reporting party’s place of employment. Damage was estimated at $1,900.
