After 20 months of extensive renovations to the barn and its property, The Barn of Chapeau Shores opened its doors for business in June 2019. Over the years, they have continued to make changes both physically to the building, the property, as well as business changes.

“We always try to listen to our customers and continue to grow and improve, by adding things that will enhance our renters and their guests experience,” said Jayne Iverson, who owns The Barn of Chapeau Shores with her husband, Chad. “Our customers mean the world to us and we work very hard to make their celebration special for everyone in attendance. We feel blessed to have served so many amazing customers over the past five years.”

The Barn of Chapeau Shores has been booked for many business events, Christmas celebrations, Hockey Day, other wonderful life celebrations, as well as many weddings and receptions. They serve local customers and as well as customers that travel from far away to celebrate at their venue.

“It brings us so much joy watching our guests enjoy themselves at our barn,” she said.

To celebrate this five-year anniversary milestone, the Iversons have planned a celebration at their venue from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to come see The Barn, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and socialize. Several vendors are participating in the event by offering displays of their services and offering delicious food and dessert samples.

“We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with our family, friends, past and future customers, the community and our wonderful barn neighbors,” she said. “Their support keeps up going and loving what we do. We feel very blessed to be part of this wonderful community.”
