The city of Ellendale will have their annual celebration, Ellendale Days, from Friday through Sunday.

The town will be adding mini bounce houses to its lineup for children under the age of 3 on Friday.

On Saturday, there will be a youth art walk and auction from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Floors 4U. All children and adolescents grade 12 and under may submit original artwork. There will be a “meet the artist” time from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in which the artists can answer questions about their pieces. There will be a silent auction with all proceeds going back to the young artists.

The Ellendale Days vendor and craft fair will be from noon to 6 p.m. along Second Street South. Some confirmed vendors are Hen House & Co., Michele with Color Street, Alisha’s Blossom Scents, Scrubbles Clay, Wildflour Confectionery and Skeezicks Designs & Creations.

The annual Ellendale Days Parade will begin at 4 p.m. Float lineup for the event will start at 3 p.m. at the school bus parking lot.

Bounce houses will also be available at various times Saturday and Sunday.

Friday

2-5 p.m.: Ellendale Days bounce houses

5 p.m.: Food vendors open

6-8 p.m.: Giant slip n slide at T-Ball games (Parent signed waiver and supervision needed)

6-8 p.m.: Ellendale Days bounce houses open (Parent signed waiver needed)

7 p.m.: Karaoke on stage to the east of RJ’s Bar

Saturday

8 a.m.: Car show at UMC parking lot

10 a.m.-6 p.m.: Old fashioned root beer floats- by the mural committee in front of Lerberg’s

10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Floors 4U: Youth art walk and auction (10:30-11:30 a.m.: “Meet the artist”)

11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Corn hole tournament on Third St.

11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Ellendale Days bounce houses

Noon to 6 p.m. at Second St. S.: Ellendale Days vendor and craft fair

3 p.m.: Parade float lineup at school bus lot

4 p.m.: Ellendale Days parade

5 p.m.: Kiddie tractor pull

5-7 p.m.: Ellendale Days bounce houses

7:30-10:30 p.m.: Youth dance

8-11:55 p.m.: Ellendale Days street dance- featuring Shirts and Skins ($10 cover charge)

Sunday

Ellendale Days bounce houses time TBD

8 a.m.-1 p.m.: Pancake breakfast at UMC

9 a.m.: Ellendale Days tractor pull registration at bus lot

10 a.m.: Ellendale Days tractor pull start time

10 a.m.: Food at tractor pull

10 a.m.: Service in the park presented by area churches with a light lunch to follow
