Ellsworth R. Ohm

Ellsworth Russell Ohm, age 77 of Fairmont passed away Wednesday June 19, 2024 at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont, Minnesota.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday June 26, 2024 at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Guestbook and on-line condolences at www.mankatomortuary.com. Ellsworth was born August 22, 1946 to Wilhelm and Lena (Finkbeiner) Ohm in Albert Lea, Minnesota. After graduating from High School, Ellsworth served his country in the US Air Force from 1964-1968.
He enrolled and graduated from the Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. Ellsworth was united in marriage to Connie Forbord on September 11, 1971 in Benson, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Kasota, Minnesota where they raised their two sons. He worked as a computer programmer for over 20 years before retiring in 2013.
Ellsworth was a longtime member of New Creation Church in Mankato. He enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, ballroom dancing and spending time with family.
He is survived by three sisters, Doris (Paul) Oakland, Deloris (Herman) Junge, Scherry (Mike) Berg; in-laws, Jim and Jean Forbord, and Roger Forbord; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie; two sons, Nathan and Kevin; brothers, Russell and Herbert; in-laws Helmer and Deloris Forbord.
