Denny and Swanee

Hear some great music by music legends Denny and Swanee at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center. Both Denny, of Denny and the DC Drifters; and Swanee, of The Whitesidewalls, have decades of experience playing classic rock ‘n roll for audiences all over the Midwest. This will be a ballroom style concert so there will be an area at the theater where guests can dance. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online, by phone or at the box office.

Lake Mills July Jubilee

Celebrate with the community of Lake Mills Thursday through Sunday during the city’s July Jubilee. It will be a weekend full of fun activities for all ages including live music, food, the July Jubilee Parade and more. Additional information can be found at lakemillsia.org/july-jubilee.

“Tee It Up for Campers”

Help raise money to provide life changing summer camp experiences. True Friends, a nonprofit that provides experiences promoting independence and self-esteem among children and adults with disabilities, will host their “Tee It Up for Campers” golf tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oakview Golf Club. Wind Down Wednesday

This month’s Wind Down Wednesday is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in historic downtown Albert Lea. There will be fun for all with face painting, live music by Ron and Steve Unplugged, Minute to Win It games, Zumba and more.

Movie in the park

There will be a free movie showing at around 8 p.m. Friday at the Edgewater Park Bandshell. Guests are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets and watch the family movie, Pixar’s “Brave.”
