Authorities responded to the Northwood swimming pool Monday afternoon for a person who was pulled from the pool.

According to a press release, Northwood Fire & EMS was dispatched to the pool at 1:22 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived, lifeguards had removed an individual from the water and the person was transported by a Northwood ambulance to MercyOne North Iowa.

Information about what happened to the individual has not yet been released, nor has any information been released about the individual’s name or age.

The person’s condition is also unknown.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
