Gloria “Skip” (Fink) Procuniar, 93, of Crystal Lake, Illinois died on July 15, 2024. She was born  on July 6, 1931, in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Sophie and Fred Fink. She attended the University  of Minnesota and worked as Executive Secretary to the Director of the Louis A. Weiss Memorial  Hospital in Chicago until she later became a homemaker to her beloved family.  On May 31, 1969, she married Robert “Bob” Procuniar at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in  Chicago, and over the years they lived in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Houston, Texas until moving to  Crystal Lake, Illinois in 1985.  Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Mrs. Phyllis Griffin.  Survivors include her four children, Barbara (Lewis) Briniger of Seattle, Washington, twin sons,  Steven (Christine) Procuniar of Des Moines, Iowa, and Mark Procuniar of Crystal Lake, and  Gary Procuniar of Crystal Lake; two grandchildren, Brittany Liddington and Matthew  Procuniar. She is also survived by her sister Mrs. Marcia Modean of Bend, Oregon; nieces  Karen, Laurie, Nancy, Jayne, Kathy, and a nephew, Paul.  A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Albert Lea, Minnesota.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock, Illinois.
