City of Glenville – FILING CANDIDACY
NOTICE TO VOTERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy will be accepted during the regular business hours commencing on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the City Hall (221 W Main St Glenville, MN, 56036) for an eligible person who desires to have his/her own name placed on the General Election ballot of November 5, 2024 as a candidate for one of the following positions:
Mayor – Two Year Term (1 position)
City Council Member – Four Year Term (2 positions)
To be eligible as a candidate, the person filing must be an eligible voter, 21 years of age or more, and must have maintained a residence in the City of Glenville for 30 days before the general election and must have no other affidavit on file for any other office.  At the time of filing each candidate shall pay to the City Clerk, a filing fee of two dollars ($2.00) as required by statute.
