The 2020 GOP national convention made the decision to not have a platform. This decision was necessary to hide the planning for what later became Project 2025. Had the GOP set out their decades-old strategy to end American Democracy in their 2020 platform; likely very few GOP candidates would have won any federal election in 2020. Who would have voted in to end our freedom to live in a democracy?

It is no longer possible for the GOP to hide the facts — indeed the truth — as Project 2025 is the 2024 GOP national platform.

Project 2025’s 900-plus pages sets out in great detail how, where, when and why an American fascist state is needed to end our freedom to live in a democracy.

Former GOP President Dwight Eisenhower was the American general in charge of ending Hitler’s totalitarian National Socialists German Workers Party (NAZI), Mussolina’s Italian Fascist Party and Japanese Emperor Hirohito’s absolute monarchy.

General Eisenhower led the allied military forces to end the Nazis, the fascists and the absolute monarchy. All three countries are now democracies.

The Enabling Act passed during the Hitler regime allowed him to issue decrees making it unnecessary to change the German constitution. Today the six Federalist Society people on the Supreme Court allowed total immunity for any crime in the past, present or future committed by Donald Trump. This is the American version of Hitler’s Enabling Act. None of these six are jurists as all six reject the rule of law to make way for Project 2025 to have a complete takeover thus ending our right to live in a democracy. No American law or our history supports ending democracy.

The local 4th estate must defend our right to live in a democracy. GOP representatives Brad Finsted, Gene Dornick and Peggy Bennett all need to be questioned about their probable support for Project 2025.

Be the Eisenhower Republican and vote for the right to live in a democracy. Fight for that right. Vote for the DFL candidates who are defending our freedom to live in a democracy.
