Administrator’s Corner by Ron Wagner
Parents/guardians and community,
Welcome back to another school year! As we begin this new chapter, I want to express how excited we are to partner with you in supporting your child’s educational journey. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every student can thrive. We look forward to the many opportunities for learning, growth and success that this year will bring.
One of the most important factors in your child’s academic success is regular attendance. Consistent attendance not only helps students keep up with their coursework but also plays a crucial role in their social and emotional development. When students attend school regularly, they build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, gain confidence and develop a sense of responsibility. We also recognize that strong community support is vital to fostering a positive and enriching school experience. By working together — parents/caregivers, teachers and community members — we can create an environment where every student feels supported, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. We encourage you to prioritize your child’s attendance and actively engage with our school community as we strive to make this year a truly rewarding experience for all.
Albert Lea Area Schools continue to excel to support the individual learning needs of each student. Our mission is to ensure individual academic, social and emotional growth that leads to engaged citizens and lifelong learners. Thank you for your continued support and we are looking forward to a successful school year.
Warm regards,
Ron Wagner
