This weekend the city of Glenville will celebrate their annual festival, Glenville Days.

The event will run from Thursday evening through Sunday and will feature many local bands, vendors, the Glenville Days Parade, inflatables, face painting, pedal tractor pull, car and tractor show, raffle and more.

Although not the last small town festival that will take place this summer, Glenville Days seems to usher in that “late summer” feeling people are used to before the school year begins.

A couple area 4-H clubs will be at Glenville Days this year as food vendors. Shellrock 4-H will serve food in the park and Myrtle 4-H will host a bake sale and hot dog plate in front of ComTec.

Glenville Days 2024 will feature many popular attractions from past years including all day live music and the fireworks show on Saturday night.

“It really is getting our community together for a fun and safe time,” said Reina Knaack of the Glenville Days Boosters, who organizes the event. “Our car show and kid activities have been the biggest draw.”
