I would like to remind all my friends and neighbors of the upcoming Building for the Future Gala fundraiser for the Albert Lea Healthcare Coalition. It is being held on Sept. 14 at the John and Susan Morrison Medical Plaza (formerly Herbergers). Tickets are $100 per person and doors open at 6:30 p.m. Ticket price includes food, beer and wine, and wonderful entertainment by the high school orchestra, Sundae and Mr. Goessl Jazz Band, and The Johnny Holm Band.

We were all disappointed by the news that United Health Care was no longer interested in staffing our clinic, but our trustees continue to work tirelessly to make other arrangements. In the meantime, maintenance and other costs for the building must be met. Please come, support our cause and have a wonderful time.
