I recently orderd a copy of the new book by local author, Jim Troe, entitled “Crushed.” Because it arrived damaged, I reported it, and they sent me a second copy, which was just fine. So, I donated the good copy to the Albert Lea Public Library, which I hope is soon placed in their “Local Authors” section.
I found the novel very engaging — a real “page turner.” It felt like it was set right here in Albert Lea, although the town was identified as “Green Lake, Minnesota.” So, if you like a “thriller,” I would highly recommend you read this one, especially with such local interest. If you know Jim, you will be amazed at the imagination and creativity he put into his writing.
