One injured after scooter and pickup collide and other reports

One person was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for suspected minor injury Wednesday night after a scooter and pickup collided at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Wilson Street.
According to police, Brody Harmdierks, 34, was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger and was at the stop sign on Wilson Street, and the scooter, carrying 24-year-old Buay Lony, was southbound on the sidewalk at 8:04 p.m. when the crash occurred.
Lony was transported for suspected minor injury.
Fire reported
A fire was reported in a basement at 8:13 p.m. Wednesday at 205 Giles Place.
Tree falls on vehicles
A tree was reported to have fallen on vehicles at 816 Clark St. at 8:29 a.m. Tuesday. A fence was also damaged.
1 held on assault charge, warrant
Police held Christopher William Trammell, 22, on fourth-degree assault and a North Dakota warrant at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a male sitting on the bench outside at 321 Sibley Ave. pretending to have a seizure.
1 cited for disorderly conduct
Police cited Sherri Lynn Adams, 62, for disorderly conduct at 8:03 p.m. Tuesday at 426 E. Seventh St.
Hit-and-run reported
A hit-and-run was reported at 9:31 p.m. Tuesday at 148 S. Broadway.
Handicap sign taken from vehicle
A handicap sign was reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:22 a.m. Wednesday at 2708 Bridge Ave. The theft was believed to have occurred on Saturday.
