There are two key issues driving inflation, The New Green Deal and illegal immigration. Together they pose a major threat to America’s poor and middle classes.

During periods of inflation, wages never keep up with the cost of living. Inflation may slow, but prices rarely go down. The high becomes the new normal.

The illegals in this country will work for less than prevailing wages, taking jobs from blue collar workers which will depress wages for years.

Consider the resources required to feed, care for, educate and house eight million plus illegal immigrants. More people going after limited resources always drive prices higher.

We will never expel all the illegals now here. We may remove the criminal worst, but the majority are here to stay, even if forced to live in the shadows. We need to find a way for these individuals to become productive taxpayers, without granting them citizenship, or further lowering the standard of living for America’s poor and middle classes.

Even if you stopped the influx of humanity tomorrow, there is an issue that no one talks about, 80 to 90 percent of the illegals are young men between the ages of 18 and 35.

Consider the implications of chain migration once these young men become established, and begin importing their sweethearts, wives, children, parents, brothers and sisters. I would speculate we could easily add an additional 10 million. Consider the inflationary impact that will have on every facet of our economy.

This influx of humanity will change the face of America in ways we cannot even imagine.

The cost of energy is the driving factor in the escalating price of food. The tractors that till the soil, plant, cultivate, harvest, transport and process the crops and livestock that fill the shelves in our grocery stores require fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are also required to manufacture the fertilizers and chemicals that control weeds, insects and diseases in our fields. High priced fuel equates to high-priced food.

Once the Democrats fully implement “The New Green Deal,” further curtailing fossil fuels, our farmers may not be able to feed this country, let alone the world. The price of food will escalate to unbelievable levels and there will be food shortages in this land of plenty.

The best solutions are to tap America’s abundant, oil and natural gas and lower corporate taxes which will bring industry back to America. Then perhaps we can control inflation and grow the economy in a way that will allow these uninvited interlopers to make their own way, paying income and Social Security taxes.

The unintended consequences of the border and energy policies of the Democratic Party will create havoc in this country. Perhaps that was the intent! The Democrats have always been adept at playing one group against another, agitating splinter groups to feel like victims in some larger conspiracy.

Just heard! Kamala’s solution to inflation is price controls, which is the worst possible solution. Price controls have always failed. Pure Socialism!
