Wells Kernel Days 2024 will kick off this Thursday and continue through Sunday. Among the events taking place over the long weekend will be live music, shows, games, tournaments, inflatables, food trucks and many other activities.

Robby Vee Rock ‘N’ Roll Caravan will pay a visit on Friday, and the Wells Kernel Days Parade will be at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Food vendors at the event will include Bruno’s Corn Dogs, B-Lo Zero Mini Donuts, Bummy’s BBQ, Carpenter Coffee Co., Elsie Derstine Asian Style and Nel’s Diner.

Thursday

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Ron’s Roast customer appreciation lunch — Ron’s Plumbing, HVAC and Electric

7 p.m.: Little Miss Kernel program at the USC Auditorium

Friday

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Chalk the Town on Broadway

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Wells Depot Museum open

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Free lunch by CCF Bank and MM Insurance with music by Brett Feist

2 to 4 p.m.: 55+ Lions Bingo

2 to 4 p.m.: Broadway Apartments mixed doubles tennis tournament

5 p.m.: Sweet corn feed

5 p.m.: Lions Bingo, food stands and Jaycees Beer Garden open

5 p.m.: Leslie Lloyd petting zoo opens

5 to 8 p.m.: Face painting by Faribault Co. Dairy Princess

5 to 9:30 p.m.: Giant inflatables for all ages

6 p.m.: Kids pedal tractor pull, sponsored by Johnson Seeds
