Albert Lea Tigers Homecoming Parade

Show your school spirit and join the Albert Lea High School for the annual homecoming parade at 4:30 Wednesday. The parade will begin at Central Park, travel down Marion Ross Street, south on Broadway and end on William Street. The parade will include homecoming royalty, ALHS athletics clubs and more.

Lake Mills Fall Carnival

The city of Lake Mills is partnering with area churches and other sponsors for their 8th annual Fall Carnival. The event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Park. There will be games, entertainment, face painting, food vendors and more. The first 250 children will get a free pumpkin and pumpkin painting, beginning at 4 at the Oakwood Park shelter house. There will also be a free magic show with Levey the Great at 6:15.

Worth Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K run/walk

Join Worth Brewing Company for a special 5K run/walk Saturday at the brewery. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the walk/run starting at 9:30. There is a $30 registration fee which includes a T-shirt while supplies last and beer, root beer or water. Following the race there will be a celebration with German beers, German inspired food and live music from Kris & The Riverbend Dutchmen. Participants can register at http://bit.ly/4cCyPDT.

Albert Lea Out of the Darkness Walk

The Albert Lea Out of the Darkness Walk will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Check-in starts at 9 a.m. Join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy and support survivors of suicide loss.

Abundant Life Albert Lea Fall Fest

Abundant Life Church will host a free community event, Fall Fest 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church. There will be games, food, balloon animals, a bouncy house and more.
