2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Join the Albert Lea and Austin community for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s event Saturday at Frank Hall Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the ceremony at 10 a.m.. This is a family and pet friendly event. The walk is casual with one- or three-mile options. Registration is free, and fundraising is encouraged. Preregistration is highly recommended, but on-site registration will also be available. Sign up at http://act.alz.org/albertlea. 507 Country live music — Alden Lions fundraiser
Support Alden’s Lions Club by going to their annual fundraiser. At 7 p.m. Saturday, local band 507 Country will play live music at The Golden Bubble in Wells. There will be food, a cash bar and dancing. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Alden Security Bank, from Alden Lions members and at the door, which will open at 5:30 p.m. the night of the event.

Live music by Paul McCoy of 12 Stones and Scott Bartlett from Saving Abel
Two rock legends, Paul McCoy of 12 Stones and Scott Bartlett from Saving Abel, will perform a night of iconic music from 6:45 to 10 p.m. Thursday at Events at the Broadway. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at https://bit.ly/3MmMRPj.

Autumn pop-up shop
Stop by The Happy Hobbit Handcrafted Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. for a special small business pop-up shop to celebrate fall. The event will be hosted by local businesses, The Happy Hobbit Handcrafted, Nine Pink Roses Designs, Wildflour Confectionery, Homestead Highway and Grey + Clay Home. There will be vendors, a cold brew coffee bar, baked goods and crafts.

Mrs. Roper Romp pub crawl
Grab a kaftan dress and a curly orange wig for a day of fun celebrating the beloved character Mrs. Roper with a pub crawl event starting at 2 pm. Saturday at 112 on Broadway. Schedules will be provided the day of the event. Men are welcome to participate but must dress as Mrs. Roper.
