An Albert Lea man was one of two people injured Sunday morning in a crash in Morristown in Rice County.
Donald Arthur Yost, 70, was reportedly the driver of a 2022 GMC Sierra pickup that was one of three vehicles in the crash. He received non-life-threatening injuries, along with Melissa Rose Morrison, 33, of Mankato.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the GMC pickup was southbound on Holland Avenue, a 2012 Ford F150 was northbound on Holland Avenue and a 2014 Honda Civic was eastbound on Highway 60 when the vehicles collided in the intersection at about 10:55 a.m. .
Morrison was a passenger in the Honda Civic and was treated at the Mankato hospital. The report does not state that Yost went to the hospital.
The driver of the Honda Civic, Robert Randy Pierce, 33, of Mankato was not injured and neither were Yost’s passenger, Julie Joanne Yost, 68, of Albert Lea, or any of the occupants of the Ford pickup.
