A fire was reported at 6:36 p.m. after a power line was downed at 212 S. Independence Ave. in Clarks Grove. Sheriff’s Office logs stated the fire had progressed into the nearby trees.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday at 2019 E. Main St. in Albert Lea. 

 

1 arrested on probation violation

Police arrested Vernon Frydenlund, 71, on a reported probation violation at 12:03 p.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway. 

 

Woman reported assaulted

Police received a report at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday of an elderly woman who had reportedly been punched in the shoulder by her son on Grace Street.
