Deputies met Faribault County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Alden to pick up James Lee Willis, 57, on a local warrant at 10:23 a.m. Monday.

 

Assault reported

Deputies received a report at 5:16 p.m. Monday of an assault that reportedly occurred the day prior at 79503 298th St. in Clarks Grove.

 

1 arrested on DOC warrant, other driving violations

Deputies arrested Evan Douglas Fure, 21, on a DOC warrant for violation of a harassment restraining order after a traffic stop at 7:05 p.m. Monday near Freeborn County Road 46 and 670th Avenue in Alden. He was also cited for driving after revocation and speed.

 

Injury crash reported

An injury crash was reported at 7:48 a.m. Monday at Bridge Avenue and Plaza Street.

 

Computer scam reported

Police received a report at 7:48 p.m. Monday of a computer scam on Sheridan Street.

 

Fire reported in garbage can

Police received a report at 11:31 p.m. Monday of a fire that was intentionally lit in a garbage can in the alley behind 819 Pillsbury Ave.
