According to recent articles in the Albert Lea Tribune the Freeborn County Board of Commissioners has not been functioning satisfactorily as the Community Health Board, which is one of their responsibilities.

If the commissioners do not have the time or expertise to be an effective Community Health Board, I suggest they appoint some local people who have experience with medical and health service and are willing and able to give these issues the attention they deserve.
