Winnebago Cooperative Telecom Association’s (WCTA) Nominating Committee held a special meeting Friday due to the sudden passing of current director Mike Stensrud of Lake Mills.

The purpose of the meeting was to elect an additional candidate to run against Hunter Kingland for the board of directors.

During this meeting, the committee nominated Jim Scholbrock of Lake Mills.

Members should watch the mail for their ballots to vote. Ballots must be received by the end of day on Sept. 23 to be counted. Ballots will not be accepted after this date.
