Albert Lea

Recap: The Tigers wrapped up the regular season with a tightly-contested matchup against Belle Plaine Wednesday night.
Despite a 21-14 loss, Albert Lea hopes to take some positives into the postseason starting Tuesday.
Albert Lea was led by quarterback Teaghen Tolbers, who passed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on 10 completions. Carter Conn and Breckyn Wacholz were the two receivers who caught Tolbers’ touchdown passes. Conn totaled 39 yards on three catches and Wacholz finished with 66 yards on two catches.
On the ground, Charlie Irvine led the team with 62 yards on 13 carries. Tolbers was close behind with 58 yards on 15 carries.
The Tigers will travel to Luverne Tuesday night to play the Cardinals in the first round of the Section 3AAA playoffs.
United South Central

Recap: There was not a lot of scoring in the battle between the Rebels and the Panthers Wednesday night, which saw United South Central come out on top 8-0.
The Rebels got all of their offense exclusively through the run game, totaling 191 yards on the ground. Byron Getchell led the team with 70 yards, but Dylan Bonsack and Gavin Bird also put up big number finishing with 66 and 48 yards respectively.
Kolt Bullerman and Getchell each attempted two passes, but none of them found their mark. The lone touchdown was scored by Getchell on a 10-yard rush.
The Rebels earned the No. 2 seed in the section 2A tournament and receive a bye through the first round. They will play the winner of Cleveland and St. James October 26 at home.
NRHEG

Recap: On the flip side of the matchup, the Panthers saw even less offense, falling to the Rebels 8-0.
NRHEG gained a total of 89 yards throughout the game, 52 through the air and 37 on the ground. Alden Dobberstein completed five of 15 passes for 52 yards. Harbor Cromwell was the only runner to gain double digit yards, finishing with 33. Ryan Schlaak, Owen Bartlett and Dobberstein combined for four yards on 11 carries.
Aaden Hanne led the team in receiving with 38 yards on two catches. Dakota Schlaak, Jace Knudson and Bartlett combined for 14 yards on three receptions.
The Panthers enter the postseason as the No. 5 seed in the Section 2AA tournament and will travel to take on Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Tuesday night in the opening round.

Recap: There were no individual stats available from the game, but the Knights put together their third straight win as they head into the postseason.
The shutout 45-0 win over GHEC-T Wednesday night propels the Knights into the No. 5 seed of the Section 3-9 Player tournament where they will travel to take on Heron Lake-Okebena/Fulda Tuesday night.
Northwood-Kensett and Lake Mills have both remained idle since last week. They end their regular seasons Friday night. Check back to the Tribune for results and stats as they become available.
