Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

To educators like Lakeview Elementary School Principal Zack Kruger.

Hats off to Lakeview Principal Zack Kruger who on Friday worked from the roof of the elementary school because his students had achieved their fundraising goal for their recent walkathon.

It’s fun to see Kruger do fun things to get the students involved. Last year he jumped into the lake, and he said he’s been taped to a wall at his previous school.

It’s a very hands-on approach, and we think the students love it.

We’re sure there are many other educators who follow this same philosophy in their roles, and we encourage you to keep it up. It keeps things fun for the children and staff and creates memories they’ll always remember.

To the first three Bing-Oh winners.

The Tribune’s Bing-Oh Fall! is underway, and on Thursday and Friday the first three regular line bingo prizes were claimed. Congrats to the individuals who each won $25.

There are two more regular bingo prizes before everyone can compete for the coverall prize of $100 in Chamber Bucks.

Have fun, and pay close attention to the numbers that come out in each edition of the newspaper. The numbers are assigned a different day of the week, so if you have a bingo, make sure to come in on the day that is listed. Happy playing!
