The city of Albert Lea shared the following construction updates:

• Greenwood Drive: The contractor has placed the boulevard sod and reinstalled the mailboxes. The paint striping and sign installation is scheduled for next week.
• Marshall Street: The contractor is finishing the replacement of water and sewer services to properties between Bridge Avenue and Marshall Street. Next week crews will install the new rock base for the pavement.
• Winter Avenue: Crews placed the first asphalt layer this week. Next week they will be grading and prepping for sod installation.
• Downtown alleys: All work is complete except for minor corrective items.
