Muriel Virginia Weyrum passed away at St John’s Lutheran Home on October 17th, 2024 at the age of 98. Muriel was born April 23, 1936 in Albert Lea to Cleon and Gladys Holway. She grew up in Alden, Minnesota and graduated from Alden High School. Muriel married Gordon Weyrum from Alden, Minnesota and together they lived in Conger, Minnesota.

Muriel enjoyed working with flowers and always had plenty of flowers around the house. She greatly enjoyed decorating the house, both inside and out, for all the seasons, but especially Christmas and Halloween. She was a member of many organizations in Conger, and was always there to help.

Muriel was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Weyrum.

Muriel is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey (Mary) Weyrum of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Don Weyrum of Albert Lea, Minnesota; and her grandchildren, Matt (Rosie) Weyrum, Nick (Emily) Weyrum, Sarah Weyrum, and Amanda Weyrum-Wagner.

Her children and grandchildren will remember her as a loving and kind woman. They loved her and will miss her deeply.
