Mary Jo Dorman will make an excellent school board member. She had several roles during her tenure in ISD 241, and she was highly successful in all of them. Dorman was revered by parents and students alike when she taught first and fifth grades at Hawthorne Elementary. She is still a favorite of many who passed through her doors. While at the district office, Mary Jo used her immense knowledge of teaching and learning to organize teams in order to implement rigorous courses of study. Dorman was, and continues to be, driven to get to know newcomers in our community and help them feel at home. She does an excellent job of listening, reaching out and getting the job done. Vote Mary Jo Dorman for school board.
