I would like to share my experience of serving with Angie Hoffman on the Albert Lea school board. Working with Angie was new to me, and I found her to be a public official who consistently operated with integrity, transparency, logic and care. In this arena, which can often become territorial, contentious and uncooperative, Angie always kept a cool head, remaining positive in the toughest of times. Per my firsthand experience, she always operated and communicated with respect, dignity and diplomacy.
One of my favorite aspects of Angie’s service is that she brings a fresh perspective. She asks pertinent and thought-provoking questions. She seeks understanding and does not settle for status quo or “because I said so” type of answers. Angie has made great strides on the board by promoting effective communication, accountability and transparency. She is truly a responsive and capable representative of the public. Angie has earned my wholehearted support and endorsement. She will continue to do good for District 241 in her next term.
This year, I am only voting for two candidates. My other vote will be for a fresh, active parent voice on the board, Kasey Wolters. I invite you to vote with me for Angie and Kasey!
