Frank F. Gallagher

Was born December 13, 1937, in Blue Earth, MN, and passed away October 17, 2024, he passed peacefully at the age of 86, in Malibu, CA. He was the beloved son of Silas “Jake” Gallagher and Anna Schultz Gallagher, who preceded him in death, along with five of his six siblings: Daniel “Danny” Gallagher, Golda Gallagher Schwab, Donna Gallagher Walraven, and James “Jimmy” Gallagher. He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Gallagher Johnson.

Frank was a devoted father and guiding light to his three children. He leaves behind his son Todd A. Gallagher, his daughter Carolee A. Gallagher McCormack, and his son Timothy M. Gallagher and his wife, Christine. He raised his children single handedly with unyielding love, dedication and wisdom. He was a proud grandfather to Jakob Gallagher, Sierra Gallagher, Francis McCormack, Anna Burley with her husband Nathaniel, and Benjamin Gallagher, along with his cherished great-granddaughter, Theodora Burley. For over 25 years he shared his life with his partner, Antoinette Berget, who brought him immense joy and companionship.

Frank dedicated over 43 years to The Walt Disney Company, where he was known for his loyalty, work ethic, and fairness. He was a man who would give you the shirt off his back and was beloved by friends and colleagues alike. During his youth in Albert Lea, MN, Frank was a proud member of the Albert Lea Tigers Wrestling Team, competing under the guidance of his mentor, Coach LeRoy Maas. Frank remained close to Coach Maas throughout his life, and in honor of his mentor’s impact, he co-founded the LeRoy Maas Scholarship Fund dedicated to students who have demonstrated excellence through involvement in wrestling as well as good sportsmanship and leadership.

Those who knew Frank remember his warm smile, twinkling eyes, and selfless spirit. He touched countless lives with his kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.

In accordance with Frank’s wishes, there will be no formal services. His family invites everyone to honor his memory by sharing stories and celebrating the life of a remarkable man who left a lasting legacy in this world.
