Sandra “Sandy” Becker

Sandra Kay Becker, 82 of Albert Lea, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family in a room full of love, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hosptial in Rochester, Minnesota.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Bonnerup Funeral Home, 2210 East Main Street, Albert Lea, Minnesota, 56007, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a light luncheon available. Graveside Service will take place at Sunset Rest, in Northwood, Iowa.
Sandy was born on June 30, 1942 in Osage, Iowa to the parents of the late Vale and Berniece (Juhl) Low. She attended school in Emmons, Minnesota.
Sandy was united in marriage to Joseph L. Becker Jr. on June 17, 1977, they were married for 47 years.
Sandy loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart. She was especially proud and took pride in being a loving grandma.
Sandy was a go-getter all her life! She could tackle anything! She could decorate her home, work on her cars, do random home repairs, establish new gardens and anything else to make her home inviting. She took great pride in making her home and yard a perfect place for her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Joseph L. Becker; her children, Lisa (Jerry) Olson, Angie (Keith) Flatness, Kirk Siemer (Renee King) and Becky (Brian) Haberman. Her pride and joy where her grandchildren Chelsea (Jesse) Kneeskern, Coltan (Cheyanne) Feldt, Joshua Flatness, Brady (Kate) Flatness, Dalton (Lauren) Flatness, Brad (Sammie) Haberman, Corey Haberman, Tanner “Tanman” Haberman and Terran Haberman. Great grandchildren: Case Feldt, Emma, Graham and Annie Flatness, Brekken, Brynlee, Buckley and Bohdie Haberman, Cayson Haberman, Bentley Pals and Kynslee Haberman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vale and Berniece Low, sister and brother-in-law, Janiece and Paul Quam; brother-in-law, Dave Budach, nephew, Steve Quam, mother and father-in-law, Mary and Joseph Sr. Becker and brother-in-law, Thomas Becker.
Mom had some things she never did share with us kids but Joe/Dad did! We laughed and reminisced about a trip they took… and that’s all I’m going to say.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her smile and her laugh are irreplaceable to her family and friends.
