The Albert Lea Public Library invites the public to Bring Your Own Lunch and Learn Thursday with the program, “Best Books of the Year,” featuring the 2024 favorite reads of the Albert Lea Public Library staff.

A panel of staff members will share their favorite books published in the last year and why they enjoyed them. Attendees are sure to leave with a growing reading list for the new year.

The program will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday in the Council Chambers on the top floor of City Hall, 221 E. Clark St. There is no registration or fee required.
