Albert Lea

Recap: After getting their first win of the season in the game prior, the Albert Lea girls basketball team nearly made it two in a row, going the distance with Simley, but ultimately falling 41-40.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Nevaeh Wacholz who scored 20 points, pulled in 12 rebounds and dished out five assists. Jaelyn Boss contributed nine points, all of which came from beyond the three-point line.
Albert Lea takes a short holiday break, but will be back in action Dec. 17 when they host winless La Crescent-Hokah.
Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons

Recap: The Knights picked up their second win of the season Monday night, taking on Cleveland at home and coming out on top 69-59.
Macy Mattson led the team in scoring, putting up 25 points. Alyvia Newman was right behind with 20 points, while Libby Bell and Vivan Grunzke each tallied double figures with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons faces a tough test Thursday night when they host the 5-2 Rebels of Southland.
United South Central

Recap: The Rebels saw production from their normal trio Friday night against Triton, however there was little other action to speak of as the Rebels fell to Triton 78-37.
Ivy O’Rourke led with 12 points and Chloe Bullerman was right behind with 10 points, five rebounds and 4 blocks. Olivia Bungum added 9 points.
United South Central took on Martin County West Tuesday night in an effort to get back on track, however stats and results were unavailable from that game as of press time.
The Rebels will take on the Athletics of Lyle-Pacelli in their next contest Thursday night.

Recap: The Panthers came up just short against Winona-Cotter Saturday, falling by just two points 60-58, sending them into a .500 record.
Two players scored in double figures for the Panthers. Cam VanMaldeghem led the team with 19 points and Kylie Olson added 10. VanMaldeghem also recorded a double-double, pulling in 10 rebounds throughout the game.
NRHEG looks to right the ship Friday night when they hit the road to take on 2-3 United South Central.
