Bitter cold moving in today

Temperatures are expected to drop throughout the day Wednesday to bring some of the coldest wind chills thus far this winter into Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, wind chills will steadily decline Wednesday to as low as 18 degrees below zero between 6 and 9 p.m. After that, wind chills with double digits below zero continue through Thursday morning with single digits forecasted for during the day Thursday.
The Weather Service states frostbite can occur in just 30 minutes of exposure to wind chills 20 below zero or less.
The weather agency advises people to seek medical attention immediately if they think they might have frostbite or hypothermia.
