Interviews with four candidates for the position of Freeborn County administrator are slated to take place on Wednesday in the boardroom of the Freeborn County Government Center.
Interviews will run from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break from noon to 1 p.m. The interviews are open to the public.
Following the interviews, the Board of Commissioners will deliberate and consider a motion to offer the position of administrator.
Freeborn County’s last administrator, Ryan Rasmusson, resigned in October for a new opportunity after about a year and a half — first as interim administrator for six months and then as the actual administrator for about 11 months. He had been with the county for over 20 years in total, for many years as county assessor.
Interim Administrator Darrell Pettis, a former county administrator and engineer with experience in LeSueur and Watonwan counties, started in November and will work until the new administrator is in place.
The individuals slated to be interviewed Wednesday include the following:
• Melanie Aeschliman
• CJ Holl
• Kyle Harris
• David Stiernagle
