Gladys Mary Luna, 80, of Orofino, Idaho, formerly of Hollandale, MN, passed away peacefully at her home November 5th, 2024.

Gladys was born to the late Charles and Genevieve Montanye of Geneva, MN. There she was raised and worked hard on the family farm.

She later married Valente (Bob) Luna on December 24th, 1963 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Geneva, MN.

Gladys enjoyed working for local vegetable farmers during spring planting and harvest time.

Later in life, she retired to Idaho. There she enjoyed the peace and serenity of living in the mountains and the wildlife that visited daily.

She loved her pets and taking care of the ranch animals. She was an avid homemade bread maker and also enjoyed quilting, sewing and embroidery.

Gladys was proud of her family and loved them with all her heart and soul.

She leaves behind her children: Frances (Lavern), Fabian (Nadine), Scott (Theresa) and Vincent (Grace).

Grandchildren: Joshua (Angela), Chelsey (Mike Lloyd), Alex and Daniel.

Great grandchildren: Zachary and Sabrina, Sterling Lloyd and Beckett Lloyd.

A Celebration of Life is planned for the summer of 2025 in Minnesota.
