AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLES II, III AND IV OF THE CITY’S ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING THE REGULATION OF CANNABIS AND HEMP BUSINESSES

The Emmons City Council adopted the above-referenced ordinance at its meeting on December 9, 2024. The ordinance amends Articles II, III and IV of the City of Emmons’s Zoning Ordinance regarding the regulation of cannabis and hemp business in the City. The ordinance adopts definitions applicable to cannabis and hemp businesses, which includes retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, cultivators, delivery services, transportation services, testing facilities and temporary cannabis events, zoning district use permissions, performance standards and regulations for the operation of cannabis and hemp businesses, including buffer zones, code compliance, hours of operation and temporary cannabis events.
