The Albert Lea Senior Center invites all Freeborn County residents age 55 and older to join these fun activities offered in January:

• Art with Emelia: 2 p.m. Jan. 29. Registration due by Jan. 22. Cost of the event is $7 for members and $10 for nonmembers.
• Weekly bingo: 1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Defensive driving classes: Classes are offered throughout the year. Each class lasts four hours. The next class is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 7. Register by calling 320-308-1400 or 1888-234-1294 or visit www.DriverDiscountProgram.org.

Senior center membership is $30 per year and is free for members of the Albert Lea Family YMCA.
